QuickOrder - Fast Ordering via QR Code

QuickOrder is a smart ordering application designed to enhance the dining experience at restaurants. With just a single QR scan on the table, customers can instantly access a visual menu featuring high-quality images, detailed descriptions, and clear pricing. This allows guests to freely choose their dishes without waiting for staff to bring a physical menu or take their order, reducing service time and creating a more proactive dining experience. The app enables users to track their order status in real time—from kitchen processing to table delivery—and easily add extra items anytime with just a few taps. For restaurants, QuickOrder helps optimize operations, reduce staff workload, minimize order-taking errors, and increase table turnover efficiency. QuickOrder brings convenience, speed, and a modern dining experience to both customers and restaurants—an effective solution for smart service models.

Travel Support Application for Foreign Tourists in Ho Chi Minh City

The application was developed by students with a primary focus on foreign visitors traveling to Vietnam. “International tourists often face challenges such as lack of information and language barriers when trying to experience the local culture. To address these issues, we created a new mobile application tailored specifically for international users,” said Nguyễn Trọng Phúc, the project’s founder. Hodos helps users not only discover great recommendations but also plan trips easily, translate languages, and explore fascinating aspects of Vietnamese cuisine. Designed like a local companion, the app accompanies tourists throughout their journey to discover the beauty of Vietnam. Built on Google Maps API, Hodos allows users to simply open the app and take a photo of what’s in front of them. The AI system will automatically identify and return information about the landmark they are viewing. Additionally, when selecting the food recognition feature, the application will provide information about the dish and suggest nearby restaurants where it is available. However, users should note that the clearer and more detailed the image is, the more accurate the results will be. “The app is very easy to use. It includes features similar to Google Lens and Google Maps, helping me save a lot of time when searching.”
